David + Vera, Camelot by Martins Wedding, MD

I don't get to shoot many Ghanaian weddings as a wedding photojournalist but whenever I do get a chance to I am always challenged by how different they can be from the usual Nigerian weddings that I am very used to photographing. I met David and Vera through a friend whose wedding I covered so many years ago in Nigeria and immediately we got on like a house on fire at our first consultation meeting in Silverspring, MD, we laughed and joked so hard that it was so hard not to want to photograph their wedding. I had my buddy Joshua Dwain (an amazing Brooklyn, NY photographer) cover this with me haven myself worked with him on a few weddings of his too this year. We both managed to produce some really colorful and amazing images throughout the ceremony. Thanks Josh!
