Londe, A Pregnancy Portrait

This has been a great year so far. I have had the opportunity of shooting so many different subjects and stories, ranging from weddings in the Far East to toys on my dining table. So far it’s been great because one genre lends its experience to another. You learn and employ techniques in one area of photography that will eventually make you a better photographer in another area. Also, I’ve had useful teachings from all sorts of people in my photography encounters, through which I’ve developed great relationships– this includes photographers as well as others in the art industry. Some of the good work I’ve been able to produce this year would not have been possible without the help and assistance of my colleagues in the fashion styling world, make up artistry and, most importantly, AMAZING clients. Just have to take this opportunity to thank all these people, you know who you are.

Today’s post features a former client and now very good friend, Londe. If you remember I shot her wedding and traditional engagement ceremony. I really enjoyed shooting those events last year. She and I had been talking about creating images of her and her “bump” for when the time came. Well… that time certainly came and here are some of the images.
