TEDxEuston and Jide Alakija

I was invited to attend the first TEDxEuston Conference last year which was held at the University College London. I met a whole host of individuals who had been very much involved in the development of Africa. In fact the attendees list was quite intimidating. The likes of Nuhu Ribadu, The former chairman of the EFCC to Lawrence Mbugua were invited too. I felt out of place at first as I didn’t think I had any business there. But that’s the beauty of TED, it’s not about names but about ideas. What little people are doing to make a difference in this life.

I was then asked by the organisers to produce a digital slideshow of my work to be shown at the next show (which actually was held last weekend on the 27th November) as a taster to a talk I have been asked to give next year. Again, I feel a little intimidated and somewhat nervous as I know I’ll be speaking to a lot of people who usually get millions listening to them.

Anyway here is the slideshow I knocked up really quickly. I hope you enjoy it.
