I was just going through your pictures and the site in general as I had heard quite a lot about Alakija.com. I did not plan to spend this long on the site, I definitely did not plan to leave a comment…. but this set, setting, personality and person captured here just totally held me transfixed and so I say… very real shots, not just a story being told afar but more like a beautiful conversation I just had. I better go and do something like this for my wife!

So you know I’m your biggest fan right? lol. No, but seriously you really captured an effortless and natural beauty in Yemisi, and I think that’s something that can be lacking in other photographers’ pictures especially when they focus on excessive posing. These pictures, however, look like she is just “being” rather than “posing”. I echo Luvvie’s comment, please let us know whenever you come near chicago!
