I’m going to start posting slideshow galleries like the one below on this blog more often. These will be a summary of the entire wedding as opposed to the full gallery you can see on my main site. I find that you can tell a better story with a sequence of photos presented over a time period.

Sometime last year I had the opportunity of covering a wedding ceremony in Abuja, the Capital of the Federal Republic of Nigeria with Tom Saater as my assistant. It was a really fun affair as the couple had me cover their civil ceremony the previous year.

It would be really interesting to hear what you all think about this gallery.

I’ve actually been meaning to put this post up for sometime now. I have been just a bit distracted by the other tasks I’ve had do recently, including the experimental training posts I’ve posted over the past week or so.

Below are images from a recent wedding ceremony I covered in Atlanta, GA. It was shot following the engagement ceremony which I previously posted on the 10th of January. Enjoy!

I’m about to head back to London after spending so long in Lagos, Nigeria. I think in one stretch this is the longest time I’ve ever spent here. It’s been a very good and fruitful time away from base. I’ve met some very interesting people and made some very good contacts. I will miss them all.

Below are images from a recent Yoruba Engagement Ceremony I photographed in Atlanta, Georgia last year. This was one of the first events where I employed multiple speedlites at the venue.
